Senior Night

 (Non-Senior Parents)

  • 1 Chairman
  • 1 Volunteer to photograph Senior girls for booklet and on the night of the event
  • 1 volunteer to do program book
  • 1 volunteer to do balloons & flowers

 

Chairman

  • By end of September, pass out info sheet for Senior players to fill out.
  • Set a deadline for Seniors to return to you
  • Begin to type up program using copy received from Senior info sheets
  • In October, have Seniors meet with photographer for pictures
  • Individual and group pictures should be take for the program booklet

 

Program Booklet Coordinator

  • Work with Chairman on organizing program, begin putting it together with info sheets returned by Senior players, arrange for printing

 

1 week prior to event - Balloon and Flower Coordinator

  • Order balloons (12 red and 12 gold) for 2 Balloon cascades for Senior presentations
  • Order flowers: bouquets for girls and 1 rose (wrapped) for moms

1 week prior to event – Chairman

  • Call Senior parents to tell them the time they need to arrive for the event
  • Inform parents, should dress in business attire for presentation
  • Call JV Team Parent to coordinate Senior Signs for the gym
  • Finalize program with Program Book Coordinator – Note: New Sunset League rule effective 2007 says that Senior Night Events must be limited to 10 minutes, so introductions will need to be shortened
  • Rehearse presentations for timing

Day of Event

  • Have flowers and balloons in the gym 1 hour prior to presentation
  • Have photographer out front, ready for taking pictures of girls with their families
  • Have photographer take a group picture of the Senior girls and families
  • Provide 1 program booklet to each family, hand out additional program booklets – 1 per player (Varsity, JV & Frosh-Soph) and 1 per coach/staff member present.
